I participated in this August 5, 2008 panel discussion hosted by AJWS and the Avodah New York City Team about the human rights issues brought to the fore by the 2008 Beijing Summer Games, specifically addressing China’s support for the military regime in Burma and the work of my organization, 8-8-08 for Burma.
Rock to Save Darfur with Talib Kweli
I joined Lhadon Theton of Students for a Free Tibet at the Rock to Save Darfur benefit concert on June 25, 2008 to talk about China’s role in ethnic cleansing in Burma and Tibet as well as the genocide in Darfur.
