Talking with Lea (an amazing canvas director-cum-slopes bomber) from my LSAT prep class, I realized that it may be helpful to some of my compatriots in Politicalia to compile the large number of progressive political job listings I’ve recently come across.  Some of this is an aggregation of other aggregations, but hopefully it will prove helpful to people who are in the good position of actually looking for career-related work.

I, on the other hand, continue to wonder exactly when I’ll get back on track with that – either by applying to law school or finding a organization I’ll want to work with for several years, if not longer.

Without further ado:

Many, many other listings can be found on the New Organizing Institute (NOI)’s jobs listserve, which you can sign up for here.  Just in the past week, there have been job postings from Working Assets/CREDO, The Sierra Club, 80plus1.org, NOI, Corporate Accountability International, 1Sky, Democracy Alliance, and a few other organizations.  Oh, also a job listing for a Georgia House Caucus director.  Join the jobs list and you can access these and older postings in the archives.

And, I haven’t read it, but maybe someone can and then tell me what she thinks about Idealist’s handbook for those of trying to build careers in the public sector.

Happy job-hunting!
